Quote of the Week

Friday the New York Times' Escapes section included an article on Crestone, Colorado (home to more spiritual retreat centers per capita than just about anywhere else in the world). The writer, Finn-Olaf Jones was thoroughly enamored. Writing about the charming downtown he observed,

"Next door, the town's go-to cafe, Shambala, is a comfortably laid-back spread of parlors in a former miner's home.
"Unattended children will be given a double mocha and a puppy, "
reads a sign next to the kitchen counter, where chai, juices and delicious organic fare are liberally doled out."

Made me want to go to Crestone just to see the sign.
