Join the RFK Action Front

The RFK Action Front ain't no supper club. Being a member requires discipline, hard work, and above all ACTION to reduce suffering in the world. In order to join the RFK Action Front you must complete 3 of the activities listed below. Think of it like Fight Club, but without all of the senseless homoerotic (not that there's anything wrong with that) violence. It's best if you don't contact us or sign up on our mailing list or anything--the first rule of the RFK Action Front is that there is no RFK Action Front. (-: Now, go kick some ass.

1. Bankrupt a toxic polluter.

2. Put a timber company out of business.

3. Shut down a coal fired power plant.

4. Take down a dam.

5. Convert your home or business to net-zero energy usage.

6. Become a vegetarian.

7. Dance.

8. Adopt or care for a child.

9. Help elect someone who supports 1-8.

10. Elect yourself and complete 1-8.

No Haters Policy

There's this strange disease which seems to afflict some Republican commentators, bloggers, and spokespeople. It's like their goal in life is to make other people mad. It's like they get off on making other people mad for anger's sake. There's no point in debating these people because they're not rational. They're not looking for answers, they're looking for a fight (like a sort of pasty middle-aged gang member). Some day I'll come up with a name for the disease. In the meantime, our policy at the RFK Action Front is that if you're not committed to reducing suffering in the world, you are strongly urged to go somewhere else.
